The process of creating Havana Club 7 Years takes over 14 years, although the minimum age for any rum in the blend is 7 years. This is done by the method created by Don Jose Navarro, where a final part of each barrel of rum is returned to mature again until it is ready to compose the next batch of Havana Club 7 years.
The taste of rum is a journey through Cuba, from the world famous Cuban tobacco, through the rich and sweet fruits, to the flavor of spices and vanilla resulting from the aging process, in addition to the main ingredient, sugar cane.
