Our Lady of Međugorje, also known as Queen of Peace, is the invocation given to the apparition of the Virgin Mary reported for the first time on June 24, 1981 by six children of Croatian origin from the village of Medugorje, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the time of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
