Take Me x VERBENA

We are fans of Take Me and we couldn't be happier to create a collection together.

“Take me to a new life” is the tagline that translates Take Me’s mission: to provide a unique fashion experience that gives new life to iconic pieces.

Founded by  Ana Piva and Melissa Moraes, the duo have a trained eye for everything that is chic & cool. They are authentic, beautiful and very inspiring.

In this collaboration, the duo's objective was to bring the same view of fashion creation to flowers, and with an extra concern for the sustainability of the materials used in each product.

The result? It's worth checking out below.

How was Take Me born?
Take Me was born with party dress rental. We always shared our closet with friends and decided to create a business to share curation and style with other women too.
Soon after, Take Me Vintage came. Recommerce emerged from the idea of the circular economy. Why not resell a piece that is in excellent condition at a more affordable price, giving other people the opportunity to use it too? One day the person bought it, used it, and after a while he didn't use it anymore. The person who buys it can see the piece in a different way, and use the piece in a way that the previous owner never used it. Increasing the usability and useful life of the part. We always like vintage as a different and original accessory that no one has.
Dress up or dress down?
Ana Piva: It depends on the mood. Sometimes sneakers and a white t-shirt, sometimes a dress and heels.
What song is on your playlist right now?
Ana Piva: Say you won't ever - Deetron Remix by Wallflower
What are your favorite flowers for a dinner party?
Ana Piva: Peonies.

Best secret to entertaining at home?
Melissa Moraes: Simplicity, human warmth and beautiful flowers!
Best menu or recipe to make at home?
Melissa Moraes: Aninha and I are in a phase of fit, functional and tasty foods. We liked the oat pancake with banana and almond cream and the corn cake without white flour. Eating warm is divine!
What is your daily routine like?
Melissa Moraes: Our routine starts early at home with our children and personal tasks. Then we dedicated Take Me! One day is never the same as another, but we try to maintain discipline! Every Monday we have a strategy meeting and organize the week’s agenda! From then on we divided ourselves with the tasks!
Best dinner guests?
Melissa Moraes: always with dear friends and my children.
Best time of your day?
Melissa Moraes: At night, after a good day of work.
